i tried watching the first episode and i was very confused does it get better?

the story becomes easier to follow as you learn more about how the characters are related and the whole idea of the “sensates” are explained so for me yes it got better, i didnt really get ‘addicted’ to the show until maybe the 3rd episode but idk
