"Tommy Shelby would never be able to love you as long as she was there. Perhaps Grace was better at setting boundaries than she." Those sentences! Does it mean that as long as Evie existed, Tommy could never love Lizzie? Did Lizzie ever felt jealous of Evie? 🤧😮🤔🤔

His relationship with Lizzie is definitely like the canon one. I think he definitely felt affection for her, but not deep love.

But what I meant was, with Evie being around, she was always going to be #1. He was always going to yearn for her approval, affections, comfort, etc. In the most non-incesturous way ever. While a parent raises their child to leave them and live their life, Tommy sort of raised her to always be there. So, people knew that and warned Lizzie that Tommy was never going to give her the affection she deserved as a woman because his affections were towards his daughter in other manners. A Gypsy fortune teller once told Tommy that Evie was his soul-mate. Not romantically, but they shared souls. That her bright, loving energy would always bring him that one bit of peace. And he always just clung to that.

And ooooooh yes. Very much so. Lizzie and Grace both had jealousy towards Evie. I think for Lizzie, some of the rumors got to her. That Tommy had raised her for romantic purposes (again, not true...not that type of fanfic). So when she'd see her cuddling on her father's lap or them hugging, she'd get very jealous. But the sad thing is, Evie loves Lizzie and adores her. When Ruby died, she actually held Lizzie to sleep the nights her father wasn't home.... Grace liked Evie, but felt she threatened their ideal family image. She wanted Tommy. her, and Charlie, and then Evie off to the side. She used to suggest to Tommy that Evie did better with Polly to try and send her off. She felt as though Evie was always there and Tommy was too consumed with her.

E: How are they with children?

I think she’d be decent with them. She’s a fairly patient and controlled person so she’d be able to handle the chaos of kids pretty well. Whether she’d like them or not though... it would probably depend on the kid.

V: What’s the easiest way to annoy them?

Being stupid probably, not like intelligence wise but more like just doing stupid things that aren’t particularly well thought through. Additionally just being a prejudiced dick will always annoy her, so she gets annoyed a lot by most of her housemates. 

I: On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do they love themselves?

Depending on where she’s at probably anywhere from a 8 to a 10. She’s always been relatively confident in herself and her skills so that’s not necessarily something she struggles with.
