Louie was always evil 😂
Last will and testament of Scrooge Ebenezer McDuck,
{ oh gosh it’s finally here. So this took me about two days. The content here is based on MY Scrooge’s relationship with my mutuals. DO NOT REBLOG!!! But I would absolutely love to here how your muses dealt with this. And I’d love to hear your thoughts as well! Have fun }
My dearest family, I will not say anything along the lines of “if you’re reading this,” we both know why you hold the paper in your hand. Time is money, so I will skip to the point. I have passed away. I was an old man, death was always something that I had denied and accepted at the same time. As much as it pains me to write this, I knew I would need to sooner or later. Whether I died due to an injury on an adventure, or passed in my sleep I do not know, and I hate to leave you all with a simple letter, but something must be done with my estate, my company, and my possessions.
Donald Duck. I’ve watched you grow up throughout the years. You’ve done amazing things, and I couldn’t be more proud of you. I loved you as much as someone like me could, which was never enough, and I’m sorry. We’ve had so many desputes and differences, but you stayed by my side even when I never deserved it. I’ve trusted you with my life countless times, so I trust you to make sure all that I write within this letter is given and done accordingly. For you, my nephew, I leave the estate of McDuck Manor, and all that resides within it. When I first bought and built this house I imagined everyone in my entire family living there, I imagined grand parties and everyone sitting at one table, I thought it would be the new McDuck castle. I failed. I pushed away my family, I pushed you away, so I trust you to correct the mistakes I made in my past. Please keep the Manor in our family, nothing would make me more happy than to have this house passed down through generations. I love you so much, please forgive me for all the times I wronged you and please take care of our family.
Hubert Duck. You’re smart. Too smart for your own good. Smarter than I could have ever been. You solved more mysteries than I could only dream of. I’m proud of how far you’ve come in your life. For you, I trust the McDuck archives. I have confidence that Mrs. Quackfaster will teach you the things she knows, however, she has dated ideas of how things should be run. I trust you will come up with new creative and interesting trails for the McDucks to come. Keep the books in line. Our family history is in your hands now. Keep your mother’s area dusted. Don’t waste too much money on mine, I don’t need a golden monument, I just need to be remembered. Put my spectacles next to my portrait. I’m sorry for the times I made you feel left out. Take care of your family.
Dewford Duck. From the day we met I knew you were an adventurer. You’ve proven yourself time and time again. I know that your name will be remembered throughout history, as mine will. To you, Dewey, I leave the responsibly of the company’s excavations. I trust that my cane will help you on these. Use it to your advantage. You will chose where to adventure, you will chose how you will be remembered. Remember, puzzles and ancient text can be difficult. Please, don’t be afraid to ask for help. Please, don’t keep things secret. Your family is there to help you. I’m so proud of you. And I’m sorry I kept so many things from you. Don’t make my same mistakes.
Louis Duck. I said to you once that a dime means more when you’ve worked hard for it. You certainly earned the dime you carry today. You’ve earned this. For you, Louie, I leave my company, its branches, and The Money Bin. I know it’s a big responsibility, but I trust you completely to do right by it. Don’t let the money go to your head, don’t become the greedy miser I was throughout my entire life. Let others help you, learn to work well with them. Spend money to earn money. Don’t be afraid to invest in things you care about. Don’t let the money in the Bin stay there. Money cannot be idle, it must circulate. I have no wishes for the Bin except that you keep my employees there. Gyro, Quackfaster, Fenton, they need to be there, they belong there, and make sure they don’t burn the place down while they’re there. Especially Gyro. And in time, hire new and inventive people to the company. Louie, my top hat is yours. Keep the company thriving. Please take care of your uncle for me. I love you so much.
Webbigail Vanderquack. My darling Webby, I once avoided you because I couldn’t bare the thought of letting someone like you into my life again. And I am so, so sorry I did. No matter what, you have earned your place in my family, and I was so proud to call myself your uncle. I wish I had more I could give you, but I had a few unfinished adventures I never got to go on. Notes of these are on my desk in my study, take them and do what you wish with them. Pick up where I left off, carry on our knowledge, educate others on our finds. My niece, thank you.
Fenton Crackshell. You’re an amazing person, a smart lad, and an outstanding hero, with or without the suit. I couldn’t have asked for a better accountant and friend. I don’t think I treated you with as much respect as I should have, and know that I’m sorry for it. You were a part of my family, know that I valued you as if you were my own son. I’m sorry I can’t offer you much except a place in my house. McDuck Manor will always be your home. Be strong, be careful, please protect my family. I’m so proud of you.
Launchpad McQuack. For years you were my pilot, the best pilot I could’ve asked for, and you remain to be in my mind’s eye. You were a part of my family. Your original plane is still in my hanger, collecting dust, please take it for yourself. I ask nothing more from you but to keep the branch of my company alive in St. Canard. Please be careful in your work there, I know that sometimes it is dangerous business. Tell Drake I’m sorry for trying to control his life, it was never my place, just keep him safe, also make sure he doesn’t lose that watch. Please give Gosalyn my best wishes.
Gyro Gearloose. I always knew you would amount to great things, with every invention you created, I saw you grow more intelligent. I’m so proud of how far you’ve come. You need a bigger space to expand your growing genius. When Ludwig Von Drake passed on he left me with his laboratory. It is yours now. I trust that you’ll use it for your larger projects. Keep creating wonderful things.
Della Duck. I’m sorry for pushing you away. There is nothing I can give you except forgiveness. Hopefully, with my passing, you can find it within yourself to return to your family. Just know that I never stopped looking for you.
A quarter of my Bin is my person spendings, please take it and divide it evenly between yourselves. Please don’t fight over it. My money should never have become the cause of rifts between my family and I don’t want that to continue.
Bury me with my dime.
I love you all so much. Stay together.
Scrooge Ebenezer McDuck,
Uncle Scrooge,
P.S. Do not spend too much money on my funeral or my grave. Keep it small and simple.

“NO PLEASE I’M A GOOD BOY.”
Wait.
“That’s not a bad word!!!”
A Word From His Right Hand
Fenton doesn’t know how to deal with Scrooge’s passing. He’d never been privy to know someone who had passed away. He’d never even been to a funeral. Even when he helped his boss draft the document and allocate the funds, deeds and what not to certain parties, the idea that Mr. McDuck, someone who had given him the chance for a new life, a new way, someone he viewed as a father may eventually pass away, it was something that never fully hit him. Scrooge was an old duck and sometimes this would show in their time together as his right hand and body guard. He’d always push the very idea away, bury it down. Scrooge was the strongest person he knew, a practical immortal in his eyes, living well past a standard hundred years. The idea that this person, this being who conquered numerous, impossible feats, could die? Inconceivable. Then came the inconceivable. Scrooge taught Fenton a lot of things, but he never taught him how to say goodbye. He tried to be strong for the family in Scrooge’s stead. Even as he held the official execution of the will, Fenton’s hands shook tremendously and the threat of collapsing into a mess of tears was becoming a larger possibility with every second past. When he began to read however, there was a calm in his system, as if he, himself, wasn’t the one speaking to each family member, but Scrooge. He swore in that moment, he felt the duck standing beside him, looking over his shoulder, one last time. When he reached his own section, which he hadn’t even known was included, he had to take a brief moment to breathe. Scrooge had thought of him as family, as a son. In his reading, he left out the mention of his heroics, of the suit, he’d- he’d deal with that later on. ‘Be strong, be careful, please protect my family. I’m so proud of you.’ He swallowed hard. A couple of straggling tears falling from his eyes and down his beak. When he thought he was about to break, he found himself smiling, and somehow regaining his strength to pull through to the end. His last official order from Mister McDuck was to be strong, be careful, to protect the family, and that was exactly Fenton would do. Mister McDuck was the boss after all, he was always right and Fenton would honor his wishes to his dying day.
He’d teach the family how to say goodbye to Scrooge’s presence by filling the void with himself. He’d help Donald settle into the manor, handle all of the paperwork and legal work that came with it. He’d help Huey organize the library, giving him as much information Fenton knew or could find on Scrooge and the rest of the family. If needed, he’d provide protection to Dewey and go on any adventure, at any point, at any time. He was Scrooge’s head accountant for years, now, he was Louie’s. He knew the in and outs of how the money in the money bin was spent, gained, and should be used. He’d teach Louie everything Scrooge taught him, and follow his new Boss’s lead in whatever direction it lead. Like Dewey, Fenton would go with and protect Webby on any adventure, anywhere, to finish the things his Father didn’t. Fenton would keep in regular contact with Launchpad and the Mallard family, keeping an eye on the business, making sure they stayed safe, and secured. Fenton would hand over the deed and keys to the long passed Ludwig Von Drake’s Laboratory to Gyro in Scrooge’s stead. And Della? Fenton would offer her his friendship if she ever returned. Fenton would divvy up Scrooge’s last inheritance, giving himself the smallest piece of the pie. It was a small, tasteful funeral. Fenton had been a pallbearer and speaker, and would visit the grave often, recounting to his boss the latest adventures or stories he had with the family. Now for his final part, for everything to come together as he planned, he had to unveil his biggest secret.
He takes a breath, loosens his collar and speaks. “Before you all go, I have one last thing to say, and I implore you all to keep this a family secret. No one outside of family can know. As you all know, Mister McDuck trusted me with a lot of things. His money, his business, his secrets, I was his head accountant and right hand for years but I also filled a second role for him as well, which, in the events of his passing, I would extend to all of you.” Deep breath, Fenton ol’ boy. You can do it. “I’m sure you’ve all noticed at some point in time, that since the passing of Scrooge McDuck, his bodyguard and the hero known as Gizmoduck has also mysteriously vanished and that is because....despite all appearances and what you all might think-” He changes his voice, to that octave, to the one known to the public. “- I, Fenton Quincy Crackshell, am Gizmoduck. This was the largest secret Mister McDuck and I shared. It was difficult to keep this from all of you for so long, but it’s time. And I want you all to know that you may call on me anytime you may need me. If be it for protection, guidance, or just as a friend to talk to. I will be continuing my duties as the guard and protector of the Money bin, Manor, The City Of Duckberg and the McDuck family. If anyone has any further questions, or concerns regarding this matter, please don’t hesitate to come to me. I am always here for you. Thank you.”

“Hah! Deal.” There was absolutely no way this kid was going to make it another day without falling asleep. Because if what he’d heard was true, then Louie hadn’t slept for a few days now. And since 20 bucks was on the line now, Daffy was going to do everything in his power to ensure that he didn’t lose --- even though he was practically convinced that this was in the bag. “Hope you don’t mind if I turn on some classical music in the meantime! Not too loud of course. Oh, and light this candle while I’m at it. It’s lavender! --- By the way, how do you like your tea?”
della: hi sir, have you seen my son louie? he's about this tall, clearly gay but we haven't talked about it yet
❝ hey kid, ‘ll give ya fifty bucks if they actually bone. ❞
