The Stranger in Town

Ba-teall had reached the village slipping on some gloves over his hands. Knowing he would make contact with other villagers. He had to be careful around the humans. Less he give away his identity so easily. He found himself in the villages tavern and ordered himself a drink while he heard commotion come from the outside. Calmly he drank the custom drink in the tavern. “Is it normally this loud here?” He pretended to be oblivious to what had occurred just moments later. He hunched himself over his cloak shadowing his face as a dark smile soon forms with in the depths of his cloak. ‘Humans, that flocking about like chickens with there heads cut off. How sad. A old mans death. At least he had some use with his pathetic human life.’ He thought to himself before as he rubbed over his gloved hand where his ring lie hiding under the fabric.
Going back to his drink and between the sips. He asked the bartender if there was a room to spare for coin. After having a few drinks in him and with the coins placed over the counter and now a paid room he headed up the stairs from the bar. Tossing his traveling bag carelessly on the bed as he approached the window. He watched several people group up together in building across from the tavern from which he was staying at. Watching from his paid room through the window he saw something that peeked his interest. A woman in finer clothing seemed to be talking among the men outside. His eyes became fixated on the woman’s figure. The already restricted confided clothing she wore where now soaked from the heavy rain. It now seemed to hug the woman’s frame further, revealing the lovely assets of her body. Ba-teall leaned further on the edge of the window. His breath slowed as he studied her. He became quickly fascinated with vixen studying her mannerisms as she talked with the men. It was not to long after she left alone in the direction of where they body was. He took noticed also to the weapons on her. “How curious...” His claws now drag down the glass of the window. “ And naive for a woman to go alone. Who knows what could await such a vulnerable woman unattended by a man. You almost make it to easy. But I will wait before a more ideal moment. With more knowledge about this girl.” He said pulling away from the window. With his things unpacked and leaving the tavern he went to gather information where the group of men conversation still remained.
