I wanted to draw Candace as an evil scientist and decided to throw Doofenshmirtz in. This is the first time I got him right and I’m glad he turned out so well as practice sketches rarely faired well. I love Candace’s hair here and the Background. I don’t think Candace would be a science villain for obvious reasons but I think if she was her “experiments” would be something like Discworld’s Bloody Stupid Johnson’s stuff, where things never work how they’re supposed to but still have mind boggling results. (Of course, she would have the Tim Taylor affect from Home Improvement.) Still, OWCA has no idea what her experiments can do, so they send an agent to stop her. (Maybe an Agent Z for Zebra? Or Maybe she’s Heinz’s apprentice / hired help. She does the leg work and the basic building for the inators, while fighting Perry physically. Why would Candace work for a villain? In this AU, her parents divorced and the dad took Candace but died, leaving her with some debt she needed to pay off and she wasn’t going to crawl to (or live with) a family she barely remembers. (As a bonus Heinz cannot recognize her without the goggles.)

Anyway, this is my evil scientist AU where a Candace grew up without her family as her birth father took her when he left. When he died though Candace didn’t want to be forced to live with a family she only knew from a faint memory and ran away. Eventually she met Heinz who took her under his wing as protege and Candace accepted for the free room.

In this au I’m with the idea of Perry being an undercover spy where he pretends to be a scientist turned into a Platypus so he can spy of lovemuffin as Heinz’s partner while secretly sabotaging his inators. Just to give it more of a twist.
