I’ve already speculated that ‘Evil Five’ will just be more of a comic book accurate version of Five.
But I haven’t speculated on what that actually means.
Well of course you guessed it, I think it means we will get an introduction to that special operation that made comic book Five a killing machine.
I think the serial killer DNA being binded into series Five’s DNA will make it accurate with the comics but also done in a totally different way. As in Five will be just as cold and evil as in the comics, but it won’t be the Commission that did it to him.
That’s right, it will be Reginald Hargreeves that makes Five a cold-blooded killer in the series.
I imagine that Reginald performs this operation on Five instead, and lies to The Umbrella Academy and tells them that it will help Five in some way (possibly with dealing with the past two weeks).
I could see this as Reginald attempting to make Five apart of The Sparrow Academy (as he sees Five as the only useful member of TUA) by making him give completely into his killer instincts (yes I think Five already has them as a result of being in the apocalypse) and feel no love for his siblings. Which is as we all know, is the only thing that makes Five human.
Unfortunately I can only see Reginald being successful in this, and The Umbrella Academy being unable to bring Five back or prevent this and season three ending badly. Maybe with Five almost or actually killing one of his siblings 😔 I could imagine it either being Allison or Vanya.
I see no way of the siblings being able to bring their brother back, even after losing to him. Maybe he’ll start feeling guilty for killing one of his siblings and regain his humanity? Or Doroles brings him back somehow? But both those scenarios seem rather unlikely to me.
Also the reason I see Five as already having killer instincts is because of the scene where he kills the Board of Directors, Five could of done it subtly but nope he just massacres them all (seriously I saw an arm meters away from it’s body).
Another reason why I think Five already has killer instincts is because of what Aidan once said in a yt video; “Five is always suppressing rage.” I think Five has been suppressing his killer instincts since Day 1 because of the love of his family, but is already so close to snapping it’s pretty much inevitable.
Also who wouldn’t go completely insane from being forced to live in a post-apocalyptic world for 45 years with little to no food and no one but a broken mannequin to talk to?
I’m sorry if I hurt anyone with this sudden angst, I hurt myself. I also really don’t want this to happen because I really want season three to just give my husband a fucking break for once.
