I know you're tired of evil hall questions because you moved on but is shipping the characters okay with you? i have seen people shipping the characters and making suggestive jokes about their relationship when in your bio it explicitly says that you don't appreciate shipping in your work + you are acearo but i wanted to make sure to let them know they should not do that. sorry for the bother if you even answer.

Back when the comic was still being produced i did try to deter people from shipping them by making everyone acearo, and i Do think i said not to ship them, however i cant recall if i ever gave my True reasoning as to why i dont want anyone shipping the hallies

Plain and simple, they're too similar to the real band. While they are distinctly different from the real people, they still share the same names, likenesses, etc.

Evil hall as a band is just the real band parodied into something absurd. And while they don't require the same volume of respect as the real people, (for obvious reasons) i dont think people should use them as an excuse to draw things they normally wouldn't be allowed to draw when making fanart of the Real people.

Respecting the real tally hall was a HUGE factor in working on the comic, and there were many jokes or lines that were cut because i didn't want to make light of things like the rotary park incident or joes mental health issues. I had a whole list of things that were Not to be depicted within the comic itself, and part of the reason i gave up and left was because that work felt like it all went to waste when fans began doing gross things with these characters.

I dont expect anything to change, as the people who don't respect tally hall certainly aren't going to respect my words as an artist. But i appreciate you asking anyway
