I'm just after reading ur c!phil post and based on you mentioning u like routine i came to the realisation that a huge part of why i watch philza minecraft is because of his fixed schedule - i know, even if I'm not gonna tune in to every stream, no matter what's going on in my life, that on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Philza will be live and he will (usually) be playing hardcore, working on a stupidly big build. It's oddly comforting

Of course, there's also his liberal use of banning, the nice community, his tendency to laugh hard and often and the afformentioned stupdily big builds

Also i love in servers w/ other ppl, coming to realise, oh my god he plays mc so differently. Often you can tell a mcyt like main play style by how they play (speedrunners, lifesteal ppl ect.) but god he moves wierd, he's so cautious, like it fits in hardcore but it's suddenly in a new context

Oh absolutely it's so interesting to watch people's play style shine through in their movement on servers. Like seeing speed runners or pvpers is totally different from how phil (hardcore) moves. Speed and power versus phil just having movement styles he uses without thinking that don't burn hunger. People better at minecraft than me can and have done really interesting analysis's!

And yes. Love the routine. Oooo it's wednesday :D

Turns out I'm Minecraft roleplay diseased. Was watching tommyinnits bitsmp vods and bc hes a BIG FAN of copyrighted music sometimes it'll skip ahead and suddenly ur in a totally different convo/ situation. At any rate my brain was like, it could be fun to interpret these timeskips as a dissociative disorder.

i never watched philza minecraft during covid, and i was watching some of his vods from back then and ourgh does some of the stuff his chat put pin tts makes me uncomfortable.

Like i get the fact that ppl needed it at the time and it was a lot bigger audience with a lot of kids but thank god its not the same now

At the time we definitely were agonizing about jesus christ the things people would say in TTS, but we were also a bit used to it so you got so you could tune it out. Or claw your headphones off your head. When you go back NOW— oh man. There's a reason his chat is so tightly moderated now, and it's because we had to put blocked terms in place for so, so, so many things that people would TTS in front of 20k people.
