So here I was, having read (and loved) Reverse multiple times, minding my own business in Clone Wars, and I see your name wander across a couple different fics and I'm like "WAIT I RECOGNIZE THAT WHY" and then REMEMBERED and I think I will SOMEDAY read your stuff but at the moment I Am Traumatized because I'm sure you're Up To Shenanigans and My Heart Can't Take It.

“Nonsense Master, I insist,” she giggles and pulls out something that looks far more suitable to engine maintenance than medicinal treatment. 

Maybe, Kit muses in belated epiphany, it isn’t wise to try to use Obi-Wan’s diversions against someone who grew up with him.

OK I only made it to #2 on there and my interest is piqued.

So my friend a while back decided to try to bribe my cat into liking her by, among other things, leaving her house, going to McDonalds, straight up buying this cat a chicken nugget happy meal, driving to MY house (while I’m not there) and exchanging chicken nuggets for pats.  Thus Bacara and NNT, with something cats actually eat >.>

The Again is from that one discussion where it’s clear Bacara has done this before, since he’s super professional at reading tooka body language.  So at some point during the campaign, Bacara attempts to get a wild tooka to let him pet them by bribing them with a variety of different rations until he finds one they’ll eat.

“I’m not going to say I told you so,” Bacara says and means precisely that thing.  “You know you have a hat.”  It’s a giant stupid hat, rimmed with fishing line and little dangling plast-mold baits and corks.  Rex is not going to wear that hat.

Ever.

Bacara sighs; Kit snickers; they both slap bacta on his sunburned scalp with little sympathy.
