Vanessa had spent the day thinking about what she had drunkenly told Lilly a few nights ago. By the time she was at home, laying on his lap, surrounded by his warmth and his comfort, all she could do was sigh. What was she afraid of, anyways? Why was she afraid in the first place? Slowly, Nessa turned over to look up at Lucian, studying his features first. His calm demeanor, his tired but relaxed smile, how concentrated and blue his eyes are. It was a few moments that she studied his features, everything that drew her in.
“Lucian,” She finally breathed out. “Am I—“ she paused for a moment, slowly sitting up, resting her hands on his, biting her lip. “Are you—“ she paused again and sighed. She was truly unsure of how to word herself and it made her a bit flustered as she grunted at herself. “Are you happy? Not like, content with life or anything, but happy. With us? With how we’re going?—“ her voice tapered off and all she had to do was stare at him. Their eye contact could tell a thousand more languages than their own words at times.

Familiar || Harcey
It was an overcast morning; a morning that Vanessa loved to wake up to because it frequently reminded her of home. The beeping of the monitors were steady. As the clouded light from outdoors shone through the room, it revealed an intubated Vanessa with connected to various monitors with the side of her head being bandaged. She was still trapped in her own mind, trying to get back into her senses as she struggled to listen for something, or someone. It was as if something had deafened her and blinded her and she had to search around on her own to be able to find that light back to her own body.
That was until she felt a familiar vibration. That was all she could feel, she searched for that vibration, that familiar hum. That was what anchored her and the moment she reached that vibration….Suddenly, her fingers moved, sluggishly, but they did. Next, her eyes slowly opened, they glowed a soft purple as she winced against the light but they returned back to their warm brown color as she adjusted. While she couldn't speak, she made a gagging sound to get the breathing tube out of her throat, but instead of pulling it out herself, she took the hand of her favorite pair of blue eyes that she saw. Her eyes widened in panic.

Nessa sat at her piano, playing the first song she had been taught at WDPA, tears occasionally falling onto the ivory. Her head snapped up when she heard the familiar footsteps enter, and she quickly wiped her eyes, and took a deep breath. “Hi, Lucy.”

Two Plus Zero | Harcey
July 20th...the date rang in Vanessa’s ears as if she had returned from a concert. She could feel the hammering in her chest the more she thought about it as she continued to fix her makeup in front of her vanity. Her gaze shifted to their first picture on the nightstand for a moment, she rested her chin on her hand and smiled. We were so young...she thought to herself with a soft smile. Her gaze shifted back to her reflection and she took a deep breath. Nessa felt the butterflies in her tummy as she approached the door. Sure, she lived with him, but she couldn’t help but still have the adrenaline rush of nerves and excitement all contained in one.
She slowly turned the door knob, using the other hand to smooth out the black tulle and emerged down the hallway. Her heels were almost deafening against the silence of the apartment. Her pace quickened when she heard the front door begin to unlock and she quickly tried to act as casual as she could, scurrying over to the kitchen to lean against the counter, coyly looking at her nails as the door opened. Her gaze shifted over to the door and she couldn’t help but smile wide, as she always did, whenever she saw him. “My, my, my, Mr. Tremaine, you clean up very nicely, indeed.”

@lucian-tremaine Nessa was rather proud of herself, not only did she manage to have a good time with Lucian at spring fling, but she managed to rile him up, and rile him up good. “Lucy,” She whispered as they walked, “I have another confession to make.” A mischievous smirk played on the girl’s dark lips. If he were to plan his sweet revenge, so would she.
