Nemo’s brows furrowed as he blinked his eyes back into focus, and pushed himself upright on what seemed to be a hard and dirty ground. He had vague memory of how he got into that state, but not enough to fully piece it back together. All he knew was that he was in pain.

 “Yet? Oh fuck...”

He released a heavy and tired sigh, not certain himself whether his reply was being fully sarcastic or if he truly believed that death was on it’s way, and soon. His eyes found focus on a younger woman.
