EVOS Grounded By GEEK After Meta Exchange With Role
Besides beating AURA FIRE, GEEK ID managed to bring another surprising victory, namely defeating EVOS Legends 2-1 in week 7 of the MPL ID S10 regular season. Janaaqt, Baloyskie, and their 3 partners have been steadily improving since the middle of the season and have presented quite a tough competition for some of the winning MPL teams this season.
Meanwhile, New Zaman, which has one of the Rookie Monsters in its lineup, has experienced a slump in performance since it succeeded in becoming the champion of the regular season half. They are listed as winless since being defeated by AURA FIRE in week 5 until their match against GEEK Fam on day 2 of week 7 .
With a 5x lossstreak which was quite risky, EVOS Legends then plunged into position 6 just above Rebellion Zion. In fact, they were originally the best team that occupied the top position of the top class standings.
EVOS Legends previously managed to control the match quite comfortably on the first map when Wanwan Clover danced well which made Caderaa cs nervous. Because of the good system support from all players, EVOS Legends was able to synergize well and close the first game without taking some time to close the score 1-0.
However, GEEK doesn't want to give up quickly on the 2nd map when all the players are back in synergy, especially Janaaqt who uses Aamon Jungler to meet Ling Sutsujin.
The Filipino jungler was listed as successful in making Sutsujin lose his way and lead every teamfight until he was finally able to chase the position to 1-1.
It seems that the role transition meta between Clover and Tazz carried out by EVOS Legends was not quite successful in the 2nd game, even until the last map where they were collapsed again by Irithel Caderaa as the playmaker in that match.
Meanwhile, EVOS Legends will meet ONIC Esports at MPL ID S10 tomorrow.
