I’ll never recover from those plot holes. I just wish Lindelof would have handed that script down through a few more stages of proof reading. It didn’t bother me a whole lot as i watched, but looking back, it was unsettling.
I agree. A few more days of work on the script to flesh it out would have really elevated the film. I really loved the conspiracy aspect of it, how Peter Weyland had actually commissioned Prometheus on the hopes that he would find some sort of Fountain of Life in space, and I wish that would have been explored more.
Sadly this is all pretty classic Lindelof. As a LOST fan, I have to say it was the same case of awesome build-up, not-so-great pay-off. It really bothered me that there was such a great premise - that our makers "changed their minds" and decided they wanted to eradicate us instead - but there was no explanation as to why. If this was the writers' idea of leaving us wanting more for what could be a likely sequel (given the way it was ended), it wasn't a very successful one. Also, WTF was with zombie Fifield? I was totally confused by that.

My Answers:
1. Do you like anime?
I don't really have an opinion on it because I've never really watched any before.
2. Favourite Disney film?
I love anything Pixar and my favourite is probably either Toy Story or Finding Nemo. My favourite non-Pixar Disney film is probably Peter Pan or The Lion King.
3. Do you think Leonardo DiCaprio was Oscar worthy for any of his films? If yes, which one/s?
FUCKING YES! His portrayal of Howard Hughes in The Aviator was flawless. I also think he was incredible in Shutter Island, Revolutionary Road, What's Eating Gilbert Grape and The Basketball Diaries.
4. Best film soundtrack?
I have so many: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Social Network, Like Crazy, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Inception, Blue Valentine, Amélie and Romeo + Juliet.
5. Are you looking forward to see Anne Hathaway starring as Catwoman in TDKR?
I'm not sure if I have made my mind up about that casting decision yet. I think she is great but I definitely think that there are other people who could have done a better job. In my opinion Marion Cotillard should have been Catwoman and Anne Hathaway should have been Miranda Tate.
6. In the ending scene of Inception, did you think that Cobb (Leo) still was in a dream?
I think no. Because in all of his dreams he doesn't see his kids faces but he does in that scene. Cobb also wasn't wearing a wedding ring (which he does in all of the scenes where he is dreaming). Apparently his kids are also wearing different shoes, and two sets of kids were cast as his children which leads me to believe that one set was used to play his kids when he is dreaming and one set were used at the end when he returns home.
7. Who do you consider to be the best actress in the film industry today?
There are a few: Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard, Tilda Swinton, Claire Danes, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence and Michelle Williams are the ones that come to mind.
8. And as for actor?
Tom Hanks, Leonardo Dicaprio, Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Shannon, Gary Oldman, Ben Kingsley and Michael Fassbender.
9. Your most anticipated upcoming film right now?
Again I have more than one: Django Unchained, The Dark Knight Rises, The Great Gatsby, Lawless (2013), Prometheus and On the Road.
10. What do you like to munch on while wathcing a film?
I love me some milkybar buttons.
11. Most underrated film?
I think Coraline is really underrated, as is Mr. Nobody.
