Psirri area, Athens city center – The current piece is located in one of the most deprived area in the center of the city, where in the last 5 years has been turned into a ghetto-type district being settled mostly by migrants.
During the day, colorful hostels, restaurants, mini markets and all sorts of small shops keep the area cheerful and noisy, covered by a mixed smell from all different cousins from a number of different countries and cultures where, drug dealers, junkies, tourists, migrants, undercover cops and locals all co-exist in a strange manner.
This collaboration piece with Cacao Rocks was created as part of a documentary for the European Culture Channel, Arte.
