I miss Millie. Why is she not on the page anymore? I need to talk to her, she understood me and helped me....
Hi darling,
Mille left the blog quite a while ago! I believe she left because she was too busy to keep doing blog work, but I could be misremembering. It’s been a while so I don’t trust my memory to know it perfectly. It’s really great that she could help you so much though! I’ll see if I can contact her to let her know that she’s been of great help for you. For now, know that we’re here for you! Mille might not be an admin anymore, but maybe someone else can help you too <3 I hope you’re okay lovely!
Sometimes what seems impossible, is just hard.
Keep fighting beautiful <3 Love Pauline
Update: I talked to Mille and she said to thank you and she’s glad that she could help

“Hello, swim bladder is an illness that affects the swim bladder organ fish use to control their bouency in the water, pressure on the SB makes it lose its function, this is especially common in fancy goldfish, since they have such compressed bodies and organs due to their round shape :) just thought i would educate you on goldfish illnesses. One day when u get a goldfish i hope u never have to experience losing one to SBD, its a very sad thing :(
Have some compassion and provide this site with at lesst some common advice if you wish to educate others
A quick Google search and first hand experience will show swim bladder is real and not made up :) “
---------------------------
We know what a swim bladder organ is. What we are saying is that “swim bladder” is a made up illness. People can see their fish sitting on the bottom and call it “swim bladder”. People can see their fish sitting at the top and call it “swim bladder”. You can Google just about anything your fish is doing, and the search engine will tell you “swim bladder”.
That doesn’t make it an actual illness.
“Swim bladder” is the one of the most over-diagnosed complaints by amateur fish keepers who don’t know what they’re talking about. You should click on that link and read it, unless you’d rather somehow try to explain that you know more than a literal fish veterinarian. :)
A true swim bladder disorder is also very unlikely to cause a fish to die. Chances are the fish in that pic passed away from something else, but the bozos in your shitty group are too dense to actually find out the problem and just let people believe it’s “swim bladder” so they don’t have to actually improve their husbandry in any way.
Congrats on killing another person’s fish, Nano!
Resignation of Kumi
Today some of you may or may not have read that Admin Kumi felt as though she did not fit in well with us and her space on the blog. And while it hurts to lose a member of our blog we hope that she will continue to write and know that she will be missed and never forgotten.
While your time here was short you surely left an impression on us admins and the blog. We’ll miss you Kumi 💜
