Yet another update to my Guilty Gear map. Character nationalities and stage locations haven't changed but some more text I've discovered (and having watched Sign and Revelator) has lead to some changes in my assumptions about the world. Likely to change at any moment lol.

Man, it's been quite a while since I watched all of Steven Universe, but one thing no one will ever be able to convince me otherwise on is the fact that Amethyst is Earth-style nonbinary. Like yeah, the gems are all canonically nonbinary women, but Amethyst appears to have a lot more fun with her presentation than any of the other gems. She seems really disconnected from her body, often shifting into different forms (including those coded as "male" by human standards) where the other gems we see generally don't. Like, how many trans/nonbinary people would kill to be able to do what she does? I don't think she's comfortable being a woman, and when she learns what Earth nonbinary-ness is like, she'd probably embrace the concept wholeheartedly.
