A stack of papers laid on his desk, slightly cloaking his face from the angle of his office’s door. Bundles of crunched up paper scattered around his chair. One unsuspecting student would assume he worked tirelessly on grading exams. On the contrary, a lot of his mess was solely because of Seteth’s writer’s block. Hhe worked tirelessly for hours on his transcript, unable to feel content with his words.
He hadn’t eaten in hours, too stubborn to quit. So focused, he does not hear the knock, or see Emmeryn at the door. When she walked in further, the scent of food made his stomach growl loudly. Embarrassingly. Quickly, Seteth collected the scraps of paper, bringing them closer to himself. There was someone there, I have to hide the evidence.
