What is an Exasecond?

Similar to other prefixes like micro, mili, kilo, mega, giga, an exasecond describes a unit of time that is a multiple of a second. This is 10¹⁸ seconds; converted, it's just under 32 billion years. Why is this significant? The age of the universe (14 billion), coming in at about half of this number. This is meaningful to me because in a way, this singular term rather simply describes a time period in which we are right in the middle of. It suggests a long history, and yet, an uncharted future. This unknown clarity encourages us to continue forth, realizing that we get to choose what the other half will look like. Choose how you spend yours carefully. Our story is not over, nor has it just begun.

Who am I?

Does it not seem odd that people in society seek to fit in, yet at the same time be different than everyone else? Why do we all seek to define ourselves?

We all need to start somewhere, and that often takes the form of imitation. I have figured out that I take a more than expected amount of.. redemption in writing, and hope that this will be one way to realize that effectively.

I need to know who I am, and what I believe in. I need to be 100% sure, for knowing this will influence the rest of my life. All of our long term decisions we make shape our final exterior product we present to the world and to ourselves.

The better these internal/external things match up, the happier a person can become. I asymptotically look to approach this. What would you want otherwise? I seek to figure out what makes me who I am. How else are we supposed to know where we are going, without first knowing what direction we are looking to go? It is only once we are confident with ourselves that we may move forwards.

i have already given up the fight. the only reason you all aren't being spammed horribly is because most of the art i'm finding isn't sourced and i'd feel bad reblogging any of that.

Hey man, give me some credit! I wanted to like her! I even went into this pretty neutral (because I can't hate Serah more than I hate Alyssa) but... Outside of her relationship with Snow there's really so little to her as a character, even now that she's the main character, that I'm still... ... Not being able to find the fucks to give.

I'm going to reserve judgment for the full game, but I just want them to give her a personality that isn't just... Lightning's complete foil. (And considering Lightning is mostly a bucket of emotional fail that happens to be physically strong, that made for a really undynamic foil.) So far they haven't... They just gave her a couple special snowflake powers which don't really help her case much.

So... Eh. /shrug
