The eternal sunset
Little Big
Hidden within, but not too far
Above the trees, above the stars
Pure and true, but hard to find
A state of being, a personal shrine
Bliss as ever, like none before
All you want, and nothing more
It matters not, of what's ahead
For the final tale, is not yet said
Rocket
I've found now that I can sleep in, I have been having dreams every night. This night, I had two, but could only remember the earlier one later on in the day. I was in charge of building a rocket similar to the self landing SpaceX one I recently watched, except on a smaller scale. It was about 3m tall, and I guess at some point in the dream I ended up strapping it to my back for fun to fly around my neighborhood. The dream must've been so realistic, that I was getting ready to announce to everyone through social media my rocket building accomplishment. I later became aware that it was just a dream, and was rather disappointed. I am always amazed at the connections and thoughts that your brain has when you are not in your usual consciousness.
You can always count on people to look out for themselves or be selfish.
Who am I to say "I Love You" before I know the whole you? Down to your deepest core, I want to know what drives you, girl. That, is true beauty. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.
There are many men out there who will already recognize this, but for the ones that can't see this as easily, you need to show you understand them in this way for them to realize it.
The amount you get back is equivalent to the amount you put in. The better investment is in your self-worth, and your body's innocent image. Of course pay attention to the rest of the world, but that will come automatically for most, without try.
The want to genuinely understand someone is contagious. This is the way to someone's heart, for that is what lays beneath, and what everyone wants understood. Everything we do in these kind of relationships, is driven by this desire. The only difference is just everyone tries to figure out the best way to get there.
Many get lost, many don't make it before they die. This entire concept is one of the last that I think our race will ever truly know all the pieces they are missing. It's never definite, for all that is to know is not known.
So no, when I say it, I don't want to make any assumptions, or make it feel like we've made it to the other-side, simply by crossing the first bridge. Perhaps I would find it more appropriate if there was a stronger word for this feeling of Nirvana.
Perhaps could it all be simply in the way I say it? You never know how far something can go, until you look back at how far it has come. Perhaps that is the only way to see the path in that way.
I know whatever it is, I want to get as close as we can together, as soon as we can too. That moment will be the beginning of the end. It is only then, in which we will find we have what we all are in search of.
I'm a guy who just turned 20 today as I write this. We do exist, though we are more hidden than society helps us get to, than women are.
We are discouraged and misunderstood. I hope things don't need to completely flip between genders before one helps the other
You have to come find us, just like we have gone in search of you. There's more than one bridge to gap, as media often communicates. We'll meet you halfway, between whatever distance it takes.
See your beauty there, and let's climb this summit into the stars & clouds as one.
Some people die at 25, and aren't buried until 75.
Benjamin Franklin
You're either dating to breakup, or dating to get married.
If I had to choose only one album to listen to for the rest of my life, this would be it. It has something I think for every one of life's moments, and gets me every time I listen to it. It was one of the first albums I ever purchased. I am still hoping to one day seem them live. They’ve come close to my town once before, but unfortunately I've not been able to attend for reasons beyond my control.
Circles & Rings
Another typical family gathering; I dont remember the specific reason, but rather just the simple opportunity to be with my family. Very much suprising me, my grandmother casually pulled me aside one evening to speak with me. “You’re my oldest grandson… you live up to your grandfather’s name (I’m the only grandson with his name). You’ve come so far in your life already, & you make me so proud.” The story of my grandparents is your classic out of a book fairytale. Immediately when they met, she said to me, she knew he was the one. They lived in seperate cities hundreds of km away with this first encounter. Yet they still kept contact after the initial event, waiting until the situation aligned right for both of them to move forwards. They have been together more than 50 years. They ended up settling in what is now my hometown, halfway between their two homes. They eventually were blessed with their own bundles of joy, all who remained in this same town to live their lives. Having gone through unbeatable odds with cancer, she had grown to value her time more than anyone I know. A kind heart, & her own sense of humor, I’m so glad I have not had to loose her yet. “I don’t know if I will be around to ever meet her, but when the time comes I want you to have my ring to give to her. I have faith that if you’ve chosen her, she will be worth it.” There are not to many things you can give to someone like that, which will stay with them for just over half a century too (hopefully in one place). I will never forget her or her kindness for the rest of my life.
Dreams
One of the things that I wanted to do with this was post some of my dreams, whether they be from sleeping, meditation, daydreaming, etc... I have always been thoroughly interested in how your brain perceives things differently when operating outside our normal consciousness. I cannot explain how mind-blowing this is to me. The majority of our experiences have been perceived through this lens we know as 'awake', and simply changing this lens, changes everything else to; The world and our experiences are solely based on how we perceive them. This gives me an unsatiating desire to explore more of what's out there.
Dreams can be very powerful. I have awoken:
completely alternate feelings about something or someone
more stressed, or even more relaxed
with new inspiration, fears, or ideas
sometimes with amazing stories
Some of them being life-changing experiences. Something within you, that you can't usually control, can have such a profound impact on the decisions you make when awake, is a mind blowing thought to me. One of life's simple pleasures.
Tonight, may your dreams take you places you've never dreamed about

From Highschool
One way in, One way out,
In through the top, Out through the spout,
One chance, That's all you get,
You choose how, Do not forget.
You've lost and won, In things you've saught,
Have you achieved, What you need... want?
As we walk through, More often than not,
The trail is foggy, And it leaves you distraught.
But once in awhile, It's clear instead,
And you can see, The path ahead.
It twists and turns, Almost everywhere,
Choices to make, Take them with care.
You choose how fast, You choose how slow,
Enjoy the scenery, Or run and go,
This near endless journey, Has both moments and days,
But where are you. What is this place?
You are here, Very alive,
In this place. Called life.
They don't pay me for nothing you know

Choose The You
The people you trust, will make the us.
Each puzzle you fit, will build your wit.
Each skill you learn, is something you earn.
You can touch the sky, but you choose how high.
The paths ahead, may leave you mislead.
But your inner fire, will fuel your desire.
The challenges you dare, will locate the where.
Will you stand by, or encourage the try?.
The best moments in time, seem to make everything rhyme.
What you give in love, is what you're made of.
This adventure you take, of something you'll make.
The days that go by, will change you & I.
How you continue, will inspire the who.
What you think now, will determine the how.
The obstacles you will face, will influence the pace,
And how you reply, will challenge the why.

What is an Exasecond?
Similar to other prefixes like micro, mili, kilo, mega, giga, an exasecond describes a unit of time that is a multiple of a second. This is 10¹⁸ seconds; converted, it's just under 32 billion years. Why is this significant? The age of the universe (14 billion), coming in at about half of this number. This is meaningful to me because in a way, this singular term rather simply describes a time period in which we are right in the middle of. It suggests a long history, and yet, an uncharted future. This unknown clarity encourages us to continue forth, realizing that we get to choose what the other half will look like. Choose how you spend yours carefully. Our story is not over, nor has it just begun.
