It should be recalled that In 2003, President Yoweri Museveni presented an official referral to the International Criminal Court for the crimes allegedly committed by the Lord's Resistance Army. After which an investigation was launched on 29-July-2004 Uganda ratified the statute of Rome on 17th March 2005 and became the 68th state party of the ICC. In July 2005, Pre-Trial Chamber II issued arrest warrants for five LRA leaders, including Joseph Kony, Vincent Otti and Dominic Ongwen. The other two - Raska Lukwiya and Okot Adhiambo - died in 2006. #exclusiveinformation #Ongwen was abducted at the age of 14 to LRA that forced him to engage in criminal acts. He Surrendered him self in 2005 and currently faces charges of Murder and many others. Ongwen needed counselling_and emotional guidance and to help him fit in society, he is not supposed to be before ICC, Kony is the one to be hunted, to me a #wrong person is being tried. #Ivankaahwa Museveni calls ICC a bunch of useless people, I don't know what he can do about Onguen...
