What power does the MC & ROs have?
MC: Nullification. They nullify/“erase” the ability of anybody they touch.
Mav: Power Mimicry. Basically the opposite of the MC! He can “absorb” the powers of anybody he touches. He has “absorbed” around 25 abilities by the beginning of the game.
Carmen: Adaptation. Her body naturally adapts to any environment! Think Darwin from Marvel.
Silas: Density Control. It’s pretty self explanatory. He can manipulate the density of anything he touches.
Payton: Mental Control. Stuff like empathy, telepathy, persuasion, etc.
Juno: Healing. She can heal/fix practically any injury as long as the person isn’t dead.
Amari: Technopathy! Basically electricity/technology control. Kinda like Katai from BSD.
The Illusion of Freedom
Free markets are a lie. This statement may shock you, but it’s time to face the truth. The idea that markets operate freely, without interference, is a myth. They are not free; they are rigged.
The Rigged Game
In theory, free markets promise equal opportunity. But in reality, they favor the powerful. Large corporations and wealthy individuals manipulate the system. They use their influence to shape policies and regulations. This creates an uneven playing field. The rich get richer, while the rest struggle to compete.
Evidence of Manipulation
Look around. Evidence of market manipulation is everywhere. Lobbyists swarm capitals, pushing agendas that benefit the few. Tax loopholes and subsidies are crafted for the elite. Small businesses and ordinary people are left behind. The market is not a level field; it’s a tilted stage.
Pre-Bunking the Myths
Critics may argue that free markets encourage competition and innovation. But how can true competition exist when the rules are skewed? The myth of the free market is a convenient cover for those who benefit from the status quo. It’s time to see through the facade.
Calls to Action
What can we do? Demand transparency. Support policies that promote fairness. Advocate for regulations that prevent monopolies. Encourage local businesses. We have the power to push for change. It starts with recognizing the truth.
Conclusion: A Call for Justice
The dream of a free market is a noble one. But it remains just that—a dream. Until we address the inequalities and manipulations, the market will never be truly free. Let us strive for a system that serves everyone, not just the privileged few. The time for change is now.

Are there any fun facts about the mc💖💖😍😍
Some fun facts about the MC:
- They’re around 27/28.
- They met Mav and Juno when they were 13 (same class).
- They don’t like their ability.
- They were the best martial artist of the Astra.
- They’ve been an assassin for around 5 years. Before that they just did odd jobs.
- They dislike the Imperials (Government/Astra Higher-Ups).
- They made a mistake when they were 17/18 that got them “kicked out” of the Astra.
"Greatest achievement: Befriending MC" STOP IM GONNA CRYBF-
I cannot WAIT for the angst train when you release the IF I'm already in love with Mav hfhdsuhfibfs
My question for the ROs (so long as it's not a spoiler): What do they want to hear, need to hear, and/or fear hearing from the MC?
-- Maverick lover anon (can I go by. Idk. Raven anon?)
Mav
Wants: “We never stopped being friends.”
Needs: “You could be the weakest person in existence and I’d still love you.”
Fears: “Why can’t you fix it/save them? Aren’t you supposed to be the strongest?”
Carmen
Wants: “I admire your dedication to the job.”
Needs: “You’re worth more than this.”
Fears: “You’re such a suck up. I don’t even know why I bothered…”
Juno
Wants: “I’m sorry I left. I know how hard all of this is on you.”
Needs: “You’re more than your ability.”
Fears: “You can’t save everyone - there’s no point in trying.”
Silas
Wants: “I love you.”
Needs: “You’re allowed to be upset. Who wouldn’t be?”
Fears: “What’s wrong with you?”
Payton
Wants: “I’m impressed at how much you’ve improved *insert time consuming skill*!”
Needs: “You’re parents would be proud of you.”
Fears: “You’re so selfish.”
Amari
Wants: “You’re a good person.”
Needs: “Of course I love you. Why wouldn’t I?”
Fears: “I don’t regret any of it.”
