I could never give a straight answer whenever I get asked what I love most about you. There’s this sudden wave of tiny things that add up that makes you my quintessence. Maybe it’s the way you pinch my nose whenever you think I do something cute (borderline stupid), or how you take care of me after 8 shots of Cuervo, or how you love me even after seeing me dance with a group of foreigners on YOUR graduation ball afterparty (which I probably should have left out…), or how you love me leaning on your shoulder whenever you drive (even if it’s obviously uncomfortable for you), or how you just never admit when you get jealous, or how you deny reading my Tumblr regularly (even if you slipped one time about a Tumblr ask! Hahaha). I used to think I could never tell what the reason was but now I’ve realized that it’s because they are bits of tiny pieces all pierced together.
I shouldn’t even be writing this because I’m still 3 months away from seeing you again but I needed something to do to get this out of my system. I used to have reservations about you and I being mature but you being 7,207 miles away (yes I googled) and me not wanting you to sacrifice anything for me is probably my tell that we’ve come a long way from Kym and Jap second year high school version. I love you but I would never ask you to put me before your goals but I love how you find a way to have me there anyway.
The best and worst part of this all? I can’t imagine having this with anybody else. I’m hoping it’s because I have never really been in a relationship with someone other than you but I honestly don’t want to know for sure. And well, save this post, print it out and have it as a pass if we ever end up not being together, because you’ll always have me. One way or another. I promise.
