A statistical analysis that groups people or objects on the basis of common characteristics.
Usage: As a result of the cluster analysis, the Marketing Department identified market segments.
CSS
Cascading Style Sheet. A type of coding on websites and social media sites that automatically formats content into specific styles.
Usage: The CSS of this site won’t let comments be printed in the Palatino font.
Delivery Channel
An organization that stands between the company and the customer when the customer is purchasing a product or service.
Usage: L.L.Bean has several delivery channels. Customers can order clothing on the web, via mail order catalogs, by phoning, or by visiting a retail store.
Executive Summary
A concise review of a longer document. Generally appears at the beginning of that longer document but frequently gets separated from it. Sometimes abbreviated as ExecSum.
Usage: Sometimes the executive summary is all that anyone will read. That’s why it’s so important.
