Ericsson has announced the planned departure of Stella Medlicott, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and Head of Corporate Relations, effective 31 March 2026, with a transition plan underway.

I feel like I’m gonna get into some trouble for this - but what’s fun without a little trouble eh? Here goes; whenever you meet someone who’s pompous / full of themselves / arrogant. Watch their words, more so, their choice in words - you can fcuk with them by using their ego against them. Now on to the fun part, today I was talking to someone who’s a downright €unt to his #employees because he views them as stupid and broke. He kept bragging about his ideas while complaining about not being able to find good help, that thing is mismanaged #Ego tends to be sloppy. So; I asked him to explain how one idea (that I already knew wasn’t his) could be applied by his #competitor. He began by deflecting saying it was specific to him (that’s normal & fine) BUT he couldn’t apply it to any one specific example & said we were wasting time - thing is when someone’s bullshitting about a #creativeidea that isn’t theirs - they lose their script/lie - which means they regress to elaborate explanations in shorthand sentences “the list is so long but you know what I’m saying right?” Etc I kept asking him questions about the industry while his #executiveteam listened in, they knew all the answers he didn’t .... all the companies problems he had complained about resulted from his #micromanagement brought on by insecurity. @ the end of the meeting I put the 3 executives in contact with my buddy who’s a corporate #headhunter - anytime you have a team that’s severally underestimated and under appreciated odds are the person running the show doesn’t respect talent.
