i’m not claiming to own writing as a coping mechanism. that doesn’t belong to me. but i’ve been frequently open about how personal my work is to me. to fwee: you may not know this about me and you may not care. but when i went through that breakup i was genuinely alone. friends i knew turned on me, i was living in a different city for school, and most days it was hard to get to out of bed. writing here helped me get through some maybe one the hardest times of my life. so no, to me? it isn’t just a fic.
