zinnia : how has the loss of fallen comrades and/or loved ones affected your muse ? has it taught them anything or given them any new perspectives ?
Emil’s never really lost a loved one. Yet. It’ll inevitably happen one day, but he’s been lucky so far ( knock on wood ). Sure, he’s lost a grandparent or two ( definitely three but his parents were basically estranged from their families for the most part ), but they’d never been close. The one friend that helped him transition into a better life is still around, the kipine is definitely still around...
So not to be #deep, but the only significant ‘loss’ Emil had was of himself, really. He still had a sense of his own interests and hobbies ( sometimes ) growing up, but the constant manipulation within his parent’s household essentially stripped him of everything else. It wasn’t until he cut ties with them and moved, did he start to regain / work on who he was as his own person.
