Ahhh! Now I can't stop thinking of the Theo, Tommy, and Dream dynamic that could be in the au of the exile arc. Tommy would definitely feel uneasy, he only wants to go home but having this future version of himself who understands! better than anyone what he just went through, and says to him that Dream IS his friend, that he'll train him, protect him, and be there... If he stays, the lava won't mean death anymore, it will be a safe place to rest peacefully if Dream is there.

the dynamic for the three of them would definitely be interesting.

though dream and theo would definitely be on guard because unlike before, the others know tommy is alive and are actively searching for them. and as secluded and secret the stronghold is, they’re still very cautious over the possibility of them finding tommy.

dream especially for obvious reasons. and he’s definitely trying to speedrun learn about the loyalty tattoo.

Oh geez, in the "exile arc" au, Tubbo's mind could be in chaos, Tommy tried to kill himself? And his future self says that Dream took him?! He wants something to make sense, he asks for evidence. Toby shows him his Mellohi disc and says "We missed him, every single moment since we sent him away, and you'll regret it if we don't find him." But Tubbo didn't want a war before, would he really be ALL in for Tommy? If he were to doubt, Toby and Tubbo could be in disagreements?

oh probably, they’d probably disagree on a lot of it.

but it doesn’t change the fact that tommy was missing and dream was becoming more and more of a threat alongside the Egg.

"He’s definitely trying to speedrun learn about the loyalty tattoo." God, don't you dare! Does that mean that Dream is almost fully gone in that timeline? (in his "split" thing) He has to worry about Tommy, stay hidden, and about the egg... But if Dream is trapped into a corner by Toby or the others, would he go as far as to order Theo to kill Tommy if they kill him? I assume that if Tommy or Tubbo were to die, nothing would happen to Theo or Toby.

i mean

theo would tell dream about the loyalty tattoo, either that or dream will find out and get the brilliant idea to start research early. compared to how he is in Rewind, his fragmentation is considerably worse and he doesn’t have george and sapnap as a support system. so grass dream would be even more possessive and the fact that theo is his- well, you’ve already seen how dream had first reacted to theo’s pledge of loyalty in the first half of Rewind.

it’s that, but thrice over i suppose.

i wouldn’t say he’s fully gone but, pulling him into balance and into where Rewind dream is would be more difficult even if george and sapnap were there to help.

though i don’t think this dream would order the death of tommy or tubbo. not yet at least, he’s not that far gone. this is the exile arc.

but by this time, toby would be more sure in his decision to kill dream compared to Rewind so things would definitely be difficult.
