Sneak Peak of Pt 2 of Batfam x Neglected!Dead!Reader
TW: BODY HORROR AND GORE. I AM BEING SERIOUS. HEAVY BODY HORROR AND GORE. JASON FUCKED UP. READER IS SUFFERING. DO NOT READ IF SENSITIVE TO BODY HORROR OR GORE.
What had he done. Sweet Jesus, what had he done.
Your body wheezed, eyes glowing green as your nails dug into Jason's arms, and he held you close as you continued to scream, asking himself why he needed to make you suffer more. Why did he need to keep hurting you.
Everything hurt.
Your soul, your ghostly form, the one you'd gotten so used to after finally dying, was yanked back into your body, dragged and pulled by what felt like thousands of uncaring hands, bound and suffocated into a rotting corpse as you felt maggots and rot eat at your body.
You felt like you were drowning as the pit's water worked through your lungs, lungs that were damaged and barely there, restoring what had long been gone.
Every tissue that had bloated and died and been eaten by the bugs that considered your corpse a feast grew back, ever single nerve agonizingly regrowing itself as sensation burned through your body, bones cracking as they mended themselves.
Worse still, your body was ripped from the waters before it could finish. It couldn't even finish healing fully.
You could still feel the maggots digging into your flesh, eating through everything, the lining of your intestines, feel the mold growing up your spine, the fungus that was wrapped around your heart and arteries, all while your skin was red, barely healed, and you clutched tightly onto whoever had pulled you out, screaming at everything you could now feel.
As a ghost, everything felt cold. You felt nothing besides cold. You did not feel the maggots, the bugs, the mold, fungus and the decay. You felt it all now. You felt the mold that spread up your spine, you felt the maggots chewing through your intestines and digestive track and muscle, larvae hatching, the slight pressure of eggs in the pits of muscle, your felt the worms that inched through the gaps in your body, now eating the new body that had replaced the rot.
You tried to speak, tried to make a sound, but to your despair, your vocal cords were one of the things the pit had not healed.
Your tears too, when you found when you tried to cry, were gone, and instead, the only thing your dry eyes blinked out was gore and pieces from your barely attached eye.
