Im late with this but maybe i was unclear with how i put my tags? I didnt mean kpop was PERFECT (its obviously not, just look at Nice Body bg hyomin) and i definitely dont defend all of it, and i do look up translations lol. I guess what i meant was most kpop doesn't just sit there and call girls B words and slut shame (not in SONGS from what ive seen) etc. my main point was that im pretty sure no one really thinks kpop is SOO meaningful anymore lol, plenty of songs prove that. I dont listen to U Kiss tbh, so i dunno about the reference u made, but im aware kpop has its issues and so does american music. I still listen to both so i i get ur post in every other way except i just dont think anyone really even tries to claim that kpop is meaningful anymore lol, cus someone would just easily shove the translation to Wolf in their face and they'd automatically shut up, along with the other examples people put in ur post lol. So sorry for the misunderstandin i guess. Plus the day i saw the post maybe i was in a mood or something idk. It probably sounded like i was taking a jab at rap music and saying its SOO terrible to women and kpop isnt , but thats not what i meant. Every genre has issues and im fully aware of that so idk why i tagged the post that way really. Maybe i was just being overly picky. like i said i agree now with ur point that kpop aint perfect but i see posts saying people think its so much more meaningful when no one even claims that anymore
Listen you don't have to defend yourself to me. the songs you listen to may not use curses and shit but that doesn't mean there aren't kpop songs that do. and again you said you looked up lyrics but your spectrum of kpop must be pretty small if you can tell me you haven't found one song demeaning to women or slut-shaming. And even if you don't think that kpop is super meaningful and shit trust and believe there are people that do. you might not just run across them, but i sure have
