“Where are you?” Chanyeol’s deep voice boomed in your ears effectively waking you up. You groaned and looked at the digital clock placed on top of your bedside table. It read 2.03 AM in red glaring at you in your dark room.
You positioned yourself upright in a lazy sitting position with your back resting on your bed’s headboard. “It’s 2.03AM of course I’m home where would I be?” You deadpanned, your voice still hoarse from sleep. Eventhough you have just been woken up from your slumber, your mouth is still capable of saying intelligible things.
“Did I wake you up?” Chanyeol asked nonchalantly as if he didn’t already know the answer. “Oh no Chanyeol, you didn’t just woke me up from my sleep. Noooo~” you answered sarcastically and he only chuckled at that. You frowned because you figured he didn’t have anything better to do again. “What do you want?” You asked.
“Hmm” Chanyeol started as if he was contemplating what he wanted to do. You waited impatiently before you heard a beep, you know that he had just hanged up on you but you didn’t reacted until you saw on your phone’s screen that he had really disconnected from the call. You scoffed at his action and threw your phone mindlessly under your pillow preparing to go back to sleep.
You fluffed your pillows and turned on a dim light before finally settling yourself in the confines of your warm blanket.
You had just closed your eyes when you heard your phone ring again. “Psh” you muttered before fishing for your phone under your pillow without openning your eyes. When you got hold of it, you immediately answered ready to growl at Chanyeol for disturbing you yet again.
“Yah! What is it this time?” You muttered irritatingly. He chuckled before answering “I can see your brains from here” he laughed making you think of how you will rip his head off once you finally see each other again. “What?” You asked yourself before moving your phone away from your ears, finally looking at the screen.
You stared at it for a moment before you finally realized that it was a video call. You saw Chanyeol check his appearance from his screen as he fix the hair covering his forehead, he smiled at himself before finally greeting you.
“Hi~~” you were suddenly wide awake and you settled on your position earlier, seeing his face made the anger you felt in him disrupting your sleep fly away. You smiled back and greeted him back. “Where are you heading at this hour?” You asked him curiously as you noticed he was inside a car and was fully dressed and made up. “Schedule as usual” he said casually as if he was so ised to it - well he must be, since it has been a while since he debuted. “Schedule this early?” He only chuckled before answering “Yup, we are filming a new MV today” “I understand, goodluck!” “Okay thanks! I’ll let you go now. I just called because I badly want to hear your voice and see you princess~” you smiled hearing him call you princess, you loved it whenever he called you that. “Sorry for waking you up this early” he apologized sheepishly rubbing his nape as he looked apologetically at you. “No problem, I would be waking up later in a few so waking a little earlier is just fine”
The both of you talked for a while more before silence engulfed you both, no one talking only the both of you staring at each other with smiles on your faces. “We’ve arrived” you heard their manager’s voice in the background “Bye now” he said still smiling at you on his screen “okay bye!”
“Love you~” he whispered before smiling widely at you, he kissed his phone screen as if he had kissed you and you did the same. It was silly but you both like being silly just for each other. “Love you more~” you muttered before finally ending the call.
You stood up from your bed as you decided to get ready for your day as well, only a little earlier.
