I’ve been obsessed with this idea of exosomatic evolution. Basically the term was coined by Lotka to describe how we should perceive human’s development of tools as a form of evolution outside the body.
Infrastructure is externalized self- inherently connected to those who construct in and engage with it. It has environmental impact just as a species does. It changes the function of our bodies. Of our beliefs.
And just as we have found spirituality in the evolution of the human body, cannot we not find it too in the development of machine? Is the metro not godly? As we expand in this petri-dish society
