psst...hey kid. hey, over here. got some more Detroit theoretical uniforms and logos for ya (see the Phoenix and Revs here)
first up we have the detroit union. inspired by the long history of labor rights organizing in detroit, particularly the founding of the united auto workers union (which now represents way more professions), this logo has a gear as its focal point. one gear alone does little, but when they lock together they can power change.
second up we got the Detroit Funk. Motown sound is a distinctive part of American music history and one of the hallmarks is the use of horns in the backing tracks. the wavy patterns of the uniform go along with the off-kilter rhythms of funk, which itself was borne out of jazz and blues. all of these genres are distinctly Black in origin and Motown would not have become a center of the music industry without Black artists, producers, and listeners
i think that is all the unis and logos i have in me for detroit but time shall tell....
and only god and mark walter know what other expansion news is hurtling towards us so perhaps i'll be back on my bullshit soon
