A quick into...
At the time of writing this post I'll have been living in Mexico City for just over a year, and I have to tell you its been a crazy 12-months. Totally alien from the thirty odd years I spent living in the UK.
In truth there are two reasons I'm want to start blogging:
Firstly I really want to get better at writing. I'll never be Hemingway but perhaps with practice I'll be able to convey my thoughts into something mildly entertaining and/or informative.
Secondly my experience of the expat lifestyle has been quite different from how YouTube depicts it. Unsurprisingly things just aren't as 'polished' as most Vloggers portray to be. So this is my way of giving an honest guide to the good, bad and ugly of expat life in Mexico City.
