I'm just wondering if INFJs tend to anthropomorphize objects? Everyone always makes fun of me for saying things like "the computer's going to be mad if it's on all night." I don't actually believe objects have feelings, but I can't help but talk about them like they do. I guess I have a hard time seeing ANYthing as just something people simply use for their own purposes, perhaps selfishly. I just can't help but imagine how the object may experience something.
I do sometimes, although like you I don't believe objects have feelings.
I think you hit the nail on the head with the last sentence; I reckon it's to do with being imaginative and also empathetic (two traits very common in INFJs).
