“I win.” He announced to no one in particular, leaning back in his char and spinning the pencil around his fingers. HIs books and homework lay on the table before him, forgotten for now. Sirius’ locked eyes with the person accross from him and smiled brightly. “It has been exactly seven days since we got back and I haven’tgotten detention, yet. Seven days! That’s a new record! Be proud of me!”
“I wish I didn’t have to buy candy or something of the sort, it would be nice to just lay out here for a bit, but I can’t waste my weekend here, y’know? Even if it’s the last of the nice weather we’ll probably get.”
James let out an unnaturally long sigh, rubbing his tired eyes with the back of his hand. It wasn’t typical oh him to roam the corridors in the middle of the afternoon hungover, but that was an unfortunate result of a traditional back-to-school evening festivity consisting of firewhiskey. With his eyes still shut by the eclipse of his hands, he suddenly found his shoulder violently colliding with another. “Oi! Oh, my bad, didn’t see ya there.”
The first thing Henrie wanted to do as soon as her classmates had been let loose in Hogsmeade was enjoy a pleasant, warm tea at Madam Puddifoot’s. Apparently, though, she hadn’t taken into account how many others had the same idea as her. It was awkward and uncomfortable to weave through the groups of witches and wizards to try to get to the queue but once she finally did, the redhead found it was a bit chaotic and wasn’t sure how or where to step into the queue and couldn’t find her voice to ask anybody to move.
Though when something shoved her forward, nearly knocking her to the ground, her instinct caused her to exclaim “Sorry!”
Henrie, getting a little irritated with how loud it was in the library, had decided to go out and look for someplace quiet and calm to go read in peace. She had ended up climbing a tree (not too high, though), scraping up her knees and finding a comfortable branch to lean on to dig into Fahrenheit 451.
"what is peeves up to with those eggs? he must be stopped!"
