The tollway here is fussy. Not all the exits post right away. I had to start a dated spreadsheet to keep track of which transactions I’ve submitted.
So I made a color-coded spreadsheet tracking in absolutely painful detail each toll road charge by toll point and day, which expense report the individual charges were included on, and which reports have been paid. And reconciled it to my pay stub.
I’m giving them no excuse! And really, the payroll processor should love me for making things easy on them. If they get audited, they should be praying my expenses get sampled, because my records are flawless.
