Eric and I have been placed at a government school in Sukhothai for teaching. It's located 5 hours north of Bangkok, and 4 hours south of Chaing Mai. Sukhothai was the first capital city of Thailand (Siam, at the time), so there is a lot of history and ruins of old buildings and Buddha statues nearby. We are very eager to move into our house, but are remaining present in soaking up every moment.
Our teacher training course (for our TESOL) is going swimmingly. Our instructor Jaco [ya-coo] is one groovy fellow. We will be joining him on New Year's to a festival called "Experience Festival". It's a music festival on an island, which looks and sounds remarkable. If you want to visit us, come then, because it will be one spectacular time.
There are so many beautiful people within our group and all around Thailand. It's almost a surreal reality. If you left you wallet on the table of a restaurant, no worries, it'll be right where you left it. Everyone is so kind and trustworthy. The pace is very laid-back and carefree.
Patience and happiness are a way of life. We are the internal light of eternal presence.
Eric and I are working on a video/song, so stay tuned :)
