Is it just me, or is it now impossible to go to a museum an not think of the movie Night at the Museum? I was about to post today’s post plain, just the stairs as I did like the aesthetic of it, but I also felt the need to add a lion 😂 First time in a long time I have actually taken out my laptop to edit instead of just doing so on my phone. But anyways, as I mentioned in my last post, my philosophy classes ended up taking a field trip to @artinstitutechi on Friday. And I have to admit, to no fault of the museum, this wasn’t my favorite trip. I ended up losing my classmates within the first 10 minutes of being there so I ended up basically spending the four hours alone. Afterwards was fun though. Towards the end I finally found my classmates again and convinced them to go to my favorite pizza place in Chicago (@vapianochicago). After that, I took an Uber to go visit a bunch of friends I have who live in Chicago and that was fun (and big thanks to @alameenkamara for helping me get back to the train afterwards). All in all, I need to start going out to the city more often. I like it. So: What do you prefer? City, suburbs, country, etc? I don’t like Valentines Day, probably because I’ve never had a Valentine on Valentines Day before, therefore I really wanted to just ignore the holiday and post something completely unrelated today. But alas, that is exactly why I realized I did need to acknowledge it. So instead, I thought I would combine a V-Day post with a Throwback Thursday post. A TBT to a little over a year ago when I had first started learning @adobe_aftereffects. The problem is, at the time, I didn’t have any ideas of what I wanted to make (plus, I am a very indecisive person). And, at the time, I was going through a really bad breakup. However, I absolutely refused to make one of those stereotypical and overdone sappy breakup videos or absolutely anything of the like. But then a good friend Max (@maxgulias) told me just to close my eyes and picture what I was feeling at that very moment. And what I felt? My heartbeat. As simple as that. And so from there, I decided to play around and try an experimental route of editing based off of one’s heartbeat, and everything one’s heart is capable of.
