Had to take almost half an hour to lint roll some cat hair off my sweatpants bc my little sister wore them and then let our cats jump on her, and as I thought to myself I have to tell this kid she can't take my clothes with her to college (she'll be going soon and will likely try), I was smacked in the face with a memory from the time the flock (ofc including me) spent time with Anne and went to school for the first time. Nudge had handed me a jacket to wear over my blazer because of the weather, but she'd worn it outside already and gotten... Grass, I think, on it. Or maybe hay, but, regardless, I had to sit down and take the time to take the stuff off, obviously. I remember telling her (not in a way that made it seem like I was actually angry, because I wasn't, but I was a little annoyed) that if she was gonna wear my clothes, she had to clean them too. She laughed it off but promised me she would from then on.
...My sister now would probably do it if I asked, but she wouldn't be too nice about it, not like Nudge was. It's times like this that I miss being able to be close to my little sister (figuratively, in Nudge's case, but it counts).
