It was a bit odd for the red head to suddenly kiss him on the cheek, but tis the season. Kuroko didn't even look up to confirm if there was mistletoe hanging from the ceiling. He merely assumed that was the reason behind the gesture. "Don't people usually kiss on the lips under mistletoe?" Not that he was inviting the captain to do such a thing. He just wasn't sure how to handle a festive Akashi.

Neither of us really do, I guess. His height mostly intimidates other people and even if they don’t mind and get past that, unless you really really make an effort to know him, it’s going to be hard to really like him. So not much romantic attention. As of me… I’m immediately seen as a friend, and I’m not really looking for romantic attention, so I’m not getting much either.

Both of us are really self-confident most of the time, but I try to keep myself under control so I don’t get arrogant, and I end up second guessing myself. He doesn’t though, so he has the most self-confidence.

I am! Even if I’m awefully awkward and have a hard time making friends, I actually make an effort to make the first move and approach people first, while Atsushi won’t bother if the person doesn’t come to him. I usually put more thought into starting a friendship with someone than he does as well, since I will try to keep in touch with someone, and usually he won’t.

Big baby blues blinked a bit in confusion at the red head. Who knew Akashi enjoyed the holiday so much that he would become a bit unlike his usual self.

Okay, so maybe he was a little bit. But that was to be expected. He'd had a rather rough day. He had dropped the cake for the party on the way here and was promptly covered with mud water right after so the cake was completely ruined. This forced him to return home and take a rather quick shower and change his clothes. He tried to stop in a open cake stores to purchase another, but most were sold out. The only one he managed to find said Sorry for your loss on it.
It was better than nothing.
So excuse him if he was feeling a bit down this Christmas. The shadow was entitled to it after all.
