For more than 50 years Uncle Milton’s Toys has brought science and discovery to children. If you ever had an ant farm as a child, then you’re familiar with the iconic brand.
During its modern era, the toy company has partnered with Lucasfilms Inc., to create a line of Star Wars Science products, including the Boba Fett Launch Lab. The launch pad is designed to teach children about rocket design, trajectories and aerodynamics.
“Launch Boba Fett sky-high and perform three different experiments. Just step on the launch pad and watch him fly. Does Boba Fett land in a different place when he has his jetpack on? Does the jetpack go higher if it’s launched on its own? Experiment over and over to find out with the Boba Fett Launch Lab!”
The launcher is air powered and requires no batteries. It also includes one Boba Fett rocket pack, one Boba Fett, a launch pad, a connecting tube, a sand skiff and a manual. The rocket has the capability to soar up to 50-feet.
This product is a great way to get kids interested in science from your own backyard. Also, at a retail price of only around $16, it’s a cheap investment that allows hours of activity. If this were around when I was a youth I would surely have used it for my school science fair project.
