UNIOCULAR BLINDNESS DUE TO THERMAL INJURY
Todoroki’s severe THERMAL INJURY to left eye has led to NO CURRENT VISION IMPAIRMENT to his left eye due to the fact MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY CAME THROUGH. The injury may have led to blurring during the first few days, but there were no lasting uniocular blindness following the injury. While BLINDNESS may occur as a result of an injury like that, the corneal reflex to shut your eye upon contact of any substance is one reason this is highly improbable. Another is that Todoroki’s medical help wasn’t delayed, reducing the chances of any long-lasting uniocular effects. Fortunately, thermal injury is not commonly associated with severe ocular sequelae due to the body’s various reflexes. ( && I doubt that Todoroki’s internal quirk homeostasis reflex to cool down his body involuntarily WOULDN’T kick in immediately at the impact of external heat)
So, with that, luckily, Todoroki has no problem being in the back with no vision assistance.
