Bayon: The many Faces of Tourism Among the crowds and chatter, the camera clicks and the motor noises, passed the ticket inspectors, I stumbled upon this relatively peaceful scene at the entrance to The Bayon. There are only 14 people in this picture, much less than many shots that compare to a page from 'Where's Waldo?' If you look closely, you can see a small fence to the right side of the path, one with opening times displayed. After Buddhist design came Hindu alterations, now there are further alteration of this great site, for purposes of what could be regarded as new religions - money and tourism. Tour guides, car parks, bus parks, bike parks, food stalls, T-shirt sellers and children selling bracelets.
