Diving underneath giant icebergs in the #Arctic was a powerful experience. In this -2 degree water, we could feel the sound wave vibrations from of ice cracking and sheets grinding against each other along with the lower frequency noises of nearby whales. Each section of the #iceberg changed dramatically as we moved along the spectacular wall of ice. The water here was well over 200m deep and free falling down the face of the icy underwater cliff felt like base jumping into a deep blue abyss. #icediving #exploregreenland #beapioneer #nordicvisitor (at Ilulissat Icefjord)
