Explorer Song and Before I Die, I Will Be Free are sort of intertwined. Explorer Song is all about getting lost in order to find yourself and being on your own. Before I Die, I Will Be Free is more like, "Okay, I know who I am, where I'm going, and now, who I want to go with." It's not an end song but it's a realization.
