Jonathon Dickinson State Park Hobe Sound, FL
On this day, I decided to be spontaneous.
Yes, decided.
Ever since I started working 9-5, I’ve decided to stop being spontaneous.
Yes, decided.
Living the life of adventure is a choice, every. fucking. day.
I decide every fucking day whether or not I’m showing up to work, whether or not I head straight home after, whether or not I sit behind my sewing machine or in front of a television.
Every. Fucking. Day.
On this day, I made the decision to be spontaneous.
On this day, I decided that making art was more important than going home.
On this day, I decided to spend four precious dollars to watch the sunset at Jonathon Dickinson on top of the Hobe Tower. It was definitely in the 50s, I was definitely freezing, definitely blissed to my core. There were a couple people up there with me, just up there to watch the sunset. That’s where my people were - up on a tower in cold weather, freezing their asses off to enjoy sweet sweet mother nature.
These photos are the result of my chosen spontaneity.
These photos are the result of me saying yes to creativity, to living a life of chosen adventure.
What a delicious product of loving my epic life.
Happy birthday, Kurt.
