The Travelling Trooper Explores Yangon
After another visit to the Thai restaurant for lunch, I left Jo and Nok and headed out on a relaxing stroll through Yangon. My final destination was Kandawgyi Lake and Park. Welcome to Kandawgyi Park. All the bridges in this park are suuuuuper sketchy. Boards missing, boards on the verge of breaking…I felt like I was in a level of Super Mario Brothers. This massive thing is a restaurant! They…

Even before the particle accelerator exploded, she had a case of wanderlust. as it was, she’d been too afraid to venture far, leaving her father behind in Iron Heights. With her new powers though, she could travel and be back home in bed at the end of the day.
She just had to eat quite a bit to accomplish it. After all, one had to intake calories to burn them. Right now she had taken a break from exploring Gotham City to take in a snack - over 20 chili-cheese dogs. The street vendor sure had gaped at the sight of the scarlet and gold figure that had halted before him in a crackle of gold lightning making such a large order. And paid in cash.
Right now she was perched up high on the ledge of a building, over looking the city. If she didn’t think about how high up she was, her normal fear of heights didn’t bother her.
So far, she’d stopped at least twenty muggings and armed robberies - there had been many a thug left tied to lamp posts or deposited tied up in the backs of police cars in the span of a couple hours - but still had no sign of the man-sized vampire bat-thing Gotham reputedly had protecting its streets. How disappointing... And her sister would kill her if she didn’t get at least a blurred photo of who or what it was for the blog...
Well if not, she could probably do one of her #FlashSelfies somewhere. Thse were pretty popular for the blog. But where? Maybe the bridge? Or the top of Wayne Tower?
Licking at the grease on her scarlet gloved fingers, she mused she had to have broken her previous records - in Central she only broke up and average of eight to ten muggings and robberies in a given night. In Gotham, she had done twice that in two hours.
Of course Gotham was a lot bigger than Central, with a more densely packed populace so that had to be taken into consideration.
There was a pricking at the nape of her neck that had her looking around warily. Seeing nothing, she wondered if her training with the Arrow and Black Canary was making her paranoid.
Shrugging, she turned back to diligently collecting her crumpled food wrappers, tucking them inside a plastic bag - as a CSI she knew better than to leave a trace of herself behind...
