Marauders Snowball-fight Headcanons

The best person to have on your team is Remus. So every time, it’s a fight to see who gets him.

However, first they need to lure him out of the castle. He hated going out in the snow, Mr. Grumpy McSweaters.

But once he’s got his head in the game, snow becomes his best friend.

The worst team combination is Sirius/Peter. They always end up fighting with each other and followed by a “surprise mutiny,” in which one of them abandons fort and jumps to the other (winning) side.

Sirius/Peter have never won against James/Remus.

After a mutiny, it usually becomes the very fair, three against one.

When its the three against Sirius, he usually gets really sad because he knows he’s losing, and makes up some excuse to stop or go inside.

Best snowball fort creator- Remus

Best aim- Peter

Fastest- Sirius

Best strategy- James

Their snowball fights usually always end up inside, which gets the professors and all the paintings miffed. 

That one time they bombarded Lily and Snape with snowballs in the courtyard for laughs.

First to get frostbite- Sirius

Especially when they corner him and stuff snowballs down his pants.

First outside when it’s snowing/has just snowed- the Marauders

65. Best dramatic movie you’ve seen?

The Sirius Black Live Show. I actually have to watch it nearly every fucking day. He’ll get his Oscar nomination for Best Dramatic Actor any day now, I’m sure.

Do you ever wish you were more attractive? In what ways?

Always. Starting with the scars. They’re hideous, I wish I could get rid of them. Then there’s the permanent shadows under my eyes. I’d like my hair to look a little bit less disheveled (I’ve attempted it, hasn’t worked to far) and without grey hairs, considering I’m not even twenty yet.

Honestly, I’d like to be more attractive in every fuckin’ way.

What was the last Muggle thing you encountered that had you completely confused?

Er…I’m a half-blood actually, so muggle things don’t particularly confuse me…at least not any more than wizard things do. Human stupidity just tends to confuse me in general. Sometimes even my own!

49. Are you an innie or an outie?

I am an innie, forced to be an outie by my more than outie friends, because someone has to be there to keep them from going too far out of themselves. If it’s not me, then who? But I have to admit that it’s thanks to them being the way they are that I have a social life to speak of, so I guess the deal works well enough for us.

Douglas, the Barn Owl.

Remus does not have much money, let alone enough to spend it on someone else when he can hardly make it out for himself. However, every wizard needs an owl, so he makes a little sacrifice for Douglas, buying him with his very first py-check. 

This curious barn owl, about the most common breed of all, is calm and quiet like his owner, efficient in bringing and carrying the mail with quick wings. He has never bitten anyone, allows people to stroke his feathers and is not easily scared. 

Remus is quite fond of him, and even when money is scarce, he always keeps treats for Douglas. Such a loyal and well-behaved owl deserves no less.
