As fun as it is to hang out, I also enjoy exploring by myself. Since Nic and Alicia were both busy I decided to explore Rotterdam without any particular plan in mind or having done any research.
I decided I wanted to head towards the water and saw a cool bridge on google maps so I walked towards the river and across the bridge. I found a cute cafe @by_ami_urban_bistro_ by the water to have lunch.
Afterwards I found myself at a park and found a nice cafe @dudokinhetpark overlooking a terrace and the park to rest for a bit before making my way back to Nic and Alicia’s place.
On the way back I stopped at @williamscanteen and tried steak tartare for the first time. I loved it so much I ordered a second one! 😅
So grateful that the weather was so beautiful and had a wonderful time exploring and roaming around Rotterdam! I was extra careful thanks to Nic’s warnings not to get run over by bikes since they have right of way!
