“princess is still awake, thought i’d wait for you to get home so you could put her to bed. she’s been looking for daddy, told her he was with uncle will. uh, there’s dinner in the fridge if you want it.” // @expoir

“it’s just me, didn’t mean to wake you, sorry.” it was just past three and she’d let herself into his house a while ago, she’d sat downstairs for at least an hour before she went up to him. sitting on the side of bryce’s bed, she pushed the hair out of his face, sighing softly. “go back to sleep.” bethany had had yet another fight with her father, she needed to leave before she got too angry, and she’d left her house just before midnight. she’d spent a few hours on the beach before coming to bryce, he always managed to make her feel better; even after everything that had happened between them recently. // @expoir

“i legit have a sore jaw from last night’s adventures. no regrets, just kinda hurts to talk, and i never stop talking. it’s wild.” // @expoir

there’s a highly uncomfortable vibe in the air and reuben knew that he wasn’t really wanted there, but roman had walked off on him and he wasn’t going to leave until he saw his little sister too. apparently, she had a girlfriend and she was off with her, so he was stuck with his little brother’s boyfriend while he waited. “i know this is wildly uncomfortable. i just want to see layla and i’ll go, if they don’t want to see me again, i’ll stay gone. been keeping an eye on them from the media anyway, only good thing about the dumbasses that stand outside all day for a fucking photo.” he sighed, running a hand through his hair as he looked around the room. he knew he should’ve stayed on the other side of the country, it was easier that way. “look, man, thank you for looking after him. seen him with countless people but with you, he’s so different. he’s happy. thank you.” // @expoir

“i’ve got about ten hours until i’m eighteen and i though i was excited but i’m not. got no idea what i’m doing and it means dad’s gonna cut my money off and i have no fucking clue what i’m doing. guess i’ll die or something.” // @expoir

he’d been crying and he hated it, he never cried. since he quit drinking, roman had been a little more in touch with his emotional side and dealing with his past. he’d been sitting in the kitchen for a while, supposed to be making food for everyone but rather just thinking too much and making himself feel worse than he already did. nearly losing kyan killed him, and he hadn’t been able to stop thinking about it since it happened. along with that, it had brought back a lot of memories that he didn’t want to think about; particularly the death of his parents, something he’d been pushing to the back of his mind for a long time. seeing his boyfriend, he stood up from his stool quickly, wiping his eyes with the palms of his hand before forcing a smile over at him. “you should still be in bed. i’ll bring food up in a bit.”
